Challenge
Develop an interactive online demo of the
Navigation System present in Acura's top
of the line models. Genex, Acura's Internet
Agency wanted to create a realistic user
experience of the Navigation System.
Solution
The demo is presented in 3 scenes; intro, interface
functionality , and a real life situation utilizing
the Navi Sys.
Scene 1 is an animation depicting the process
in which the Navi Sys. communicates with the satellites
and back.
Scene 2 explains the features of the user interface
on the Navi Sys.
Scene 3 is a storyline which guides the user through
the core of the Navi Sys.
We decided to author this solution using Macromedia's
Flash, because of its rich graphics quality and
optimization levels.
Results
This demo was and is a huge success for Acura's
existing and potential buyers. By building on
the Acura brand, via the Web, Acura buyers can
now experience and be fully informed about one
of the best features of Acura automobiles.
